In 1993 I joined the Christian Motorcyclist Assoc. Though I have not been active for the last few years, I have a renewed spirit in this area and a renewed passion for motorcycling. This passion has been building in me for a while and then on Monday Feb. 17, 2003 I got the word that one of my very best friends in this world, a man who has been like a father to me, had passed on to be with Jesus. His funeral to be held 2 days later. I knew I had to take this last ride with him and so I joined dozens of fellow Christian Bikers as we escorted the coffin to its final resting place. I loved Chuck very much and Chuck loved motorcycles. Chuck also loved Jesus with all his heart and his wife Helen. Chuck never hesitated to tell you how much he loved the both of them. I loved him for his spirit, his faith and his willingness to be used by Jesus. The greatest thing that I can say about Chuck is that we can all learn from his servants heart, his desire to help others. Chuck was a light in this world, I pray that I can now take up his mantle and share the light of Jesus with others. I will
